Peggy Ann Rash Tullos | Obituaries

Peggy Ann Rash Tullos, 69, of Laurel passed away on March 9, 2024, and now rests in the arms of her Heavenly Father.

Peggy was born on April 9, 1954, in Tallulah, La., to James Earl and Effie Lois Rash. She was one of 10 siblings.  After Peggy finished high school, she moved to Vicksburg, where she married Clemit Tullos. Together they had one child, Christopher. She was also the stepmother to two stepdaughters, Susan and LeighAnn.

Upon Clemit’s retirement, she and Clemit relocated to Laurel to be closer to their granddaughters.

She was preceded in death by her husband Clemit; both parents; and siblings Alice Lowery and Betty Wright.  

She is survived by her son Christopher (Kelly); stepdaughters Susan (Johnny) and LeighAnn (Howard); and grandchildren Mackenzie, Charlotte, Caroline, Elysia, Marleigh and Kristian.

A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 13, at Bethsaida Baptist Church Cemetery in Philadelphia with visitation beginning at 1:30 p.m. Rev. Kenny McMinn will officiate.
